The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is a midrange-priced laptop with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800H processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti graphics, making it suitable for general use and capable of handling gaming and engineering tasks. It has a 15.6-inch IPS display with a fast refresh rate, but not a touchscreen. The laptop is a bit heavy, affecting portability, but it offers a solid build and good heat management. It comes with 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM, which is decent for most users. Battery life is on the lower side, so frequent power access is necessary. It has a backlit keyboard with a number pad and a variety of ports including USB-C and Ethernet, but no Thunderbolt. It was released in May 2022 and runs Windows 11 Home. If gaming and engineering performance are priorities and portability is less of a concern, this could be a good choice. Give Feedback

Andreas Osthoff | September 2021
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
