The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 has a better screen than the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13" for gaming and AI.
For general use, both the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 and Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 offer screens with suitable resolution and brightness, making them clear and easy to view for daily tasks like browsing and video streaming. In engineering and design, users will appreciate that both laptops have displays with adequate coverage of color gamuts, ensuring that colors are vivid and accurate, which is critical for detailed work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the lower refresh rates on these laptops mean less fluid motion and slower response times, which can hinder the immersive and competitive gaming experience.

How the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 13" compare to other laptops
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is one of the most powerful RTX 3050 Ti laptops. If you disregard the mediocre quality of the case in terms of the material and workmanship, Lenovo has created a successful budget gaming laptop with the IdeaPad Gaming. Thanks to high TDPs and constant performance development, the Core i5-12500H and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti are able to show their full power, while in contrast, the (mostly slower) competitors deliver a better battery life. However, hardly any of the alternative laptops are able to reach the image quality of the Gaming 3. Most of the competitors are left behind in terms of the color space and brightness."
"The Surface Laptop 5 remains afloat as a solid machine. It's just not one that stands out in any particular way. Just like the last one. The biggest upgrade were some new components, but they perform in the same range as other laptops with them, and frequently at the bottom of that range. I suspect Microsoft's settings are very conservative to help keep cooling and battery life within reason in the older chassis design."
