The HP Victus 15 is more budget-friendly and could be a good fit for general use and moderate gaming, as it has a midrange processor and a decent dedicated graphics card. However, if you require high-end performance for tasks like 3D rendering, advanced machine learning, or demanding gaming, the MSI Stealth GS66 offers a more powerful processor and a superior graphics card. This model is also typically lighter and thinner, making it more portable, although this could come with a reduction in battery life. Choosing the HP may save you money, but the MSI might offer a significant boost in performance and portability suitable for more intensive tasks. Give Feedback

How the HP Victus 15 and the MSI Stealth GS66 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
"The MSI Stealth GS66 is powerful enough for QHD. The Core i7-12700H and the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti found in the 12UGS model that we tested run all modern games smoothly in the native QHD resolution. The 15-inch display is very fast with its 240 Hz refresh rate, and it also offers a great color space (almost 100% DCI-P3) on top of that, which should please gamers as well as content creators, although we would have still wished for a higher brightness. Case, input devices, and connectivity (Thunderbolt 4) are at a good level. However, among other things, the GS66 loses points due to the high temperature development in 3D mode and its poor webcam."
