The decision between the HP 15" Laptop and the MSI Stealth GS77 depends on what you prioritize. For casual use such as web browsing, document editing, and media consumption, the HP is cost-effective and sufficiently capable, with a focus on portability due to its lighter weight. On the other hand, if you require a laptop for gaming, 3D modeling, machine learning tasks, or engineering software, the MSI offers significantly higher performance with advanced graphics capabilities, larger storage, and more memory. However, this comes with a higher cost, less portability due to increased weight, and relatively similar battery life considering its power. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for general use, while the HP 15" Laptop is only fair.
The HP 15" Laptop has a more modest CPU, less RAM, and a lower-quality screen compared to the MSI Stealth GS77, which makes it less suited for demanding tasks, but its lighter weight and smaller size make it more portable and thus fair for general use. On the other hand, the MSI offers a significantly more powerful CPU, more RAM, and a superior screen, enhancing its performance for various tasks, though this comes with reduced portability and potentially shorter battery life, assigning it a very good rating for general use.

The MSI Stealth GS77 is good for gaming and AI, while the HP 15" Laptop is poor.
The HP 15" Laptop, with its integrated Intel graphics and a standard screen refresh rate, provides a fair experience for gaming and 3D applications, whereas the MSI Stealth GS77, equipped with a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU and a high screen refresh rate, is very good for those purposes due to its superior graphical processing power and smoother visuals.

The MSI Stealth GS77 is very good for engineering and design, while the HP 15" Laptop is only fair.
The MSI Stealth GS77 is favored for engineering and design due to its superior Intel i7 processor, ample RAM, and powerful RTX 3070 Ti graphics, which together provide robust performance for demanding software applications, alongside a high-quality screen with greater resolution and color accuracy. In contrast, the HP 15" Laptop, while more portable and offering decent screen quality, falls short on performance with its lower-tier Intel i3 processor, minimal RAM, and integrated graphics, which are less suited for intensive engineering tasks.

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the HP 15" Laptop for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The HP 15" Laptop's screen offers adequate resolution and brightness, making it suitable for everyday tasks and occasional engineering work, but it lacks the high color accuracy needed for professional design and the refresh rate desired for smooth 3D rendering and gaming. The MSI Stealth GS77, on the other hand, excels with both high resolution and a wide color gamut to deliver very good visual fidelity for both general use and color-sensitive engineering tasks but falls short for gaming and 3D pursuits due to its lower refresh rate. Despite good resolution and panel quality, gamers and 3D designers should look for screens with faster refresh rates to avoid motion blur and ensure fluid visuals.

"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
