The HP 15" Laptop is a budget-friendly option with an Intel i3 processor, integrated graphics, and a 15.6-inch screen, suitable for general use like browsing and document editing. However, if you require more power for engineering tasks or demanding applications, the LG Ultra 16, with its AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Vega 8 graphics, offers higher performance. It also has a larger 16-inch screen with a higher resolution and aspect ratio, and a significantly longer battery life, but it's usually more expensive. Both laptops lack touchscreens and are not ideal for intensive gaming, but they are fairly portable and come with backlit keyboards. The LG Ultra might be the better choice for long working sessions away from power outlets and for handling more resource-intensive tasks. Give Feedback

The LG Ultra 16 is good for general use, while the HP 15" Laptop is only fair.
The HP 15" Laptop has an Intel i3 processor and 8GB of RAM, making it suitable for basic tasks, but its lower battery life, storage and screen quality may impact its general use effectiveness compared to the LG Ultra 16, which has a more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor, double the RAM, and a higher resolution screen alongside better battery capacity, contributing to its superior performance for a wider range of tasks. While both have similar portability, the LG's added advantages in CPU, RAM, and display, as well as longer battery life, accommodate more demanding applications and extended use away from power sources.

The LG Ultra 16 has a better screen than the HP 15" Laptop for content creation, and software development.
If you prioritize affordability and basic tasks such as web browsing and document editing, the HP 15" Laptop's screen offers adequate clarity and brightness, but it lacks the sharpness and color range that professional users might need. The LG Ultra 16's display, while offering similar adequacy for casual use, may fall short for engineering and design due to limited color accuracy which is crucial for precise visual work. Both laptops are not ideal for gaming or 3D design as they do not have high refresh rates which are essential for smooth motion and quick response times in these applications.

How the HP 15" Laptop and the LG Ultra 16 compare to other laptops
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."
"Unlike the gram, the Ultra PC isn't designed to be as lightweight as possible. The 16-inch laptop is a whole 400 g (0.88 lb) heavier than its 16-inch gram counterpart partly because its chassis is not made of magnesium. Other than that, the Ultra PC seems like a copy of the gram – but with longer battery life, lower noise levels, and a clean, delicate look."
