If you're looking for an economical option primarily for everyday tasks like browsing, office work, and media consumption, the HP 15" Laptop with its more modest hardware fits the bill and is easier on the wallet. It's also lighter and has a respectable battery life, making it more portable if you're on the move. On the other hand, the Lenovo ThinkPad P16, with its powerful processor, high-quality graphics card, and larger, high-resolution display, is tailored for intensive tasks such as engineering, 3D rendering, or machine learning. However, these features come at a higher price point and the device is heavier, which affects its portability. Give Feedback

Alex Iliev | August 2022
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | February 2023
"It's only a few months since we gave the MSI CreatorPro X17 one of our rare 4.5-star ratings and our top mobile workstation honor, but the Lenovo ThinkPad P16 Gen 1 matches that achievement in a more premium overall build. Ultimately, its build quality, screen, and keyboard give our latest Editors' Choice nod to the Lenovo—it's enough of a monster on almost all fronts that it simply cannot be ignored."
