The HP 15" Laptop is more budget-friendly and offers a larger 15.6-inch screen suitable for general use and workflows that do not require high performance. However, with its more modest processor and integrated graphics, it is not ideal for engineering, 3D rendering, or intensive gaming. In contrast, the HP Dragonfly Pro 14" is a mid-range priced laptop with a more powerful AMD processor and better Radeon graphics, making it more suitable for engineering tasks and heavier workloads. It also boasts a higher battery capacity, a slightly smaller and higher-resolution touchscreen display which favors productivity with its 16:10 aspect ratio. The Dragonfly is more portable and has an overall better build quality, but it costs more. Therefore, for intensive tasks like engineering and better portability, the Dragonfly Pro is recommended, but if budget and a larger screen size are priorities, the HP 15" may be the appropriate choice. Alex Iliev | August 2022
"Chances are high that the HP 15 is one of the first laptops to pop up when you search for an inexpensive notebook. Indeed, its price tag is very tempting for many, and of course, this is the reason for its popularity. However, the HP 15" suffers from poor performance due to low power consumption. On the bright side, one of the good things about it is the port selection. On the inside, this includes two SODIMM slots for memory, an M.2 PCIe x4 slot for storage, and a SATA drive bay. However, the TN panel, and mediocre input devices are not ideal."

Brendan Nystedt | March 2023
"I’d say that the HP Dragonfly Pro checks off most of the boxes for this freelancer. It feels nice to use, is zippy and responsive, has great speakers, and even has a relatively sane price. Although it’s an unorthodox choice to pick AMD for this kind of machine, it’s clear that when Ryzen is given a chance to shine, it can kick a lot of butt."
