The HP 14" Laptop is more wallet-friendly and slightly lighter, with a larger screen size which is good for general use but its performance for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks may not be as strong. On the other hand, the Razer Book 13, though more expensive, offers a higher battery life, better screen quality with touch capability, and superior performance for demanding tasks. The better performance of the Razer is complemented by a higher-quality build and more versatility through its port selection, making it well-suited for intensive work and entertainment, albeit with a smaller screen and higher cost. Consumer Reports

Nicholas De Leon | October 2022
"This feels like an ideal laptop for someone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on a laptop and isn’t too bothered by things like build quality or construction. It’s a laptop that will be used to pay bills, keep track of expenses, do some online shopping, and will be tucked away in a spare bedroom/home office. It’s an appliance designed to do a job without fuss. It’s not a premium experience—the materials do feel a little cheap, the display won’t exactly wow you, and the battery life is nothing to write home about, especially if you’ve used more expensive devices. But overall it’s not too shabby, especially for the price."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | December 2020
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
