The Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers robust performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and general engineering, making it well-suited for intensive tasks. However, it is more expensive, heavier, and has a shorter battery life, which means it's less portable. Conversely, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, while less expensive and more portable due to its lightweight design and longer battery life, is less well-equipped for demanding applications but sufficient for general use and has a touchscreen for added convenience. It sacrifices the high-end performance you could get with the Aorus, which is essential for gaming or graphics-intensive work. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
If you prioritize a crisp and vibrant display for everyday tasks and professional design work, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X, with its superior panel type, resolution, and brightness, may better meet your needs, though its lower refresh rate isn't ideal for gaming and 3D applications. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, while offering a quality screen for daily activities and color-sensitive projects due to good color gamut coverage, may fall short for fast-paced gaming or fluid 3D modeling because of its refresh rate. Overall, for general computing and design work, both laptops can suffice, but the Aorus 15X has the edge for visual clarity and color accuracy, whereas gamers and 3D artists might find both lacking due to the slower screen refresh rate.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X and Lenovo ThinkBook 13s are both good for general use.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers superior performance for general use with a high-end CPU and ample RAM, coupled with a quality screen but trades off with less portability and shorter battery life; whereas the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, while still providing good performance and plenty of RAM, offers greater portability and better battery life, with a high-resolution touchscreen, making it more suitable for on-the-go use. Both devices offer good general use capabilities, but the Aorus 15X leans towards users needing high performance, and the ThinkBook is geared towards users valuing portability and battery longevity.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
