The Gigabyte Aorus 15X brings you high-end performance suitable for demanding tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, due to its more powerful processor and graphics card. It also has a higher resolution display for sharper visuals, though this might impact battery life more than the MSI Thin GF63. The MSI is more portable, lighter, and likely has longer battery life, making it better for on-the-go use and suitable for general tasks or less intensive gaming. The decision largely comes down to whether the additional cost of the Aorus 15X is justified by the need for its superior performance and display quality. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the MSI Thin GF63 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X's screen stands out because of its sharp resolution and brightness, making it comfortable for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming, whereas the MSI Thin GF63, while adequate, may not be as vibrant. In the context of engineering and design, the Aorus 15X provides broader color coverage, essential for precise color work, but the GF63's color representation is less accurate, which could be less ideal for professional design work. When gaming or doing 3D work, the high refresh rate of the Aorus 15X may not compensate for its lower performance in this area, while the MSI Thin GF63's limitations in refresh rate make it less suited for responsive gameplay or smooth 3D rendering.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the MSI Thin GF63 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
