The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is often somewhat less expensive than the MSI Summit E16 Flip, and it offers better performance for 3D tasks, machine learning, and engineering, thanks to its higher-end GPU and better-suited processor. Its battery life is similar to the MSI's, despite having a more power-hungry processor and GPU. However, it's heavier and less portable than the MSI Summit, making it less convenient for on-the-go use. The MSI Summit E16 Flip has a touchscreen, a higher screen aspect ratio for more vertical space, and a more professional-looking design, making it more suitable for business use while also being lighter and more portable. If portability, a touchscreen, and a professional appearance are priorities, the MSI is a better option, otherwise, for higher performance in intensive tasks, the Gigabyte may be preferred. For general use, the great resolution and brightness of the Gigabyte Aorus 15X's screen provide clear and vivid visuals, while the MSI Summit E16 Flip's similar traits offer a comparable viewing experience. The MSI Summit E16 Flip stands out in engineering and design due to its wider color gamuts, essential for precise color work, although the Gigabyte Aorus 15X still performs well in this regard. However, both fall short for Gaming and 3D because of their lower refresh rates, which can't deliver the smooth motion that these applications demand, despite their decent resolutions and panel types.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the MSI Summit E16 Flip compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."
