If you prioritize having a larger screen and superior build quality, the MSI Stealth GS77 might be more suitable, despite its higher price and slightly heavier build, which might affect portability. However, if you prefer a laptop that is somewhat less expensive, with higher performance in gaming and intensive engineering tasks due to its better GPU, and slightly better portability, then the Gigabyte Aorus 15X could be the right choice for you. Keep in mind though that the MSI has double the RAM of the Gigabyte, which can be a significant advantage for multitasking and memory-intensive applications. Both laptops have similar battery capacities and high-refresh-rate displays, but the MSI's additional features may justify its premium price over the Gigabyte for some users. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 15X for engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X and MSI Stealth GS77 likely have panels with high resolution and brightness, which enhance the viewing experience for general use by making text sharp and visuals vivid, even in well-lit environments. For engineering and design tasks, accurate color representation is crucial, so these laptops must offer a wide color gamut, ensuring designers see true-to-life colors. However, for gaming and 3D applications, a high refresh rate is key for smooth motion, which these laptops seem to lack, possibly trading off for better color accuracy and resolution which are less critical for fast-paced gaming scenarios.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
