The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is more expensive and offers higher performance with better graphics, a stronger processor, and more storage and RAM which is ideal for intensive tasks like 3D rendering and engineering work. However, it’s heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable than the MSI Bravo 15 which is more affordable, lighter, and better suited for everyday use and gaming with sufficient but lower specifications in comparison. The Gigabyte Aorus 15X and MSI Bravo 15 are both good for general use, though the Gigabyte Aorus 15X is somewhat better.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is better suited for general use due to its more powerful CPU, double the RAM, and higher-resolution screen, as well as a larger battery, contributing to better performance and display quality but less portability due to its weight. On the other hand, the MSI Bravo 15, with a less potent CPU, half the RAM, a lower-resolution screen, and a smaller battery, offers moderate performance for general tasks and is more portable, but sacrifices on longevity and visual fidelity.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the MSI Bravo 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
When it comes to general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X stands out with a display that likely offers a balance of high resolution and brightness, with a suitable panel type ensuring crisp and vibrant visuals, making it very appealing for everyday activities like browsing and watching videos. For engineering and design tasks, the same laptop's color accuracy and wider color gamuts are essential for detailed and color-critical work, so the Aorus 15X with its good performance in these areas seems to be a fitting choice. However, for gaming and 3D applications, where smooth motion is key, the MSI Bravo 15 may fall short due to lower refresh rates despite having decent general use characteristics, whereas the Aorus 15X, despite its stronger general display qualities, also doesn't meet the high refresh rate demands often preferred by gamers and professionals working with fast-paced visuals.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the MSI Bravo 15 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"Overall, the MSI Bravo 15 C7U is a great gaming device for the masses that isn’t too pricey. The capable hardware (for the price range), the 144Hz display, and the comfortable keyboard are one of the things that should attract buyers who don’t want to spend a fortune on a new gaming laptop."
