The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is significantly pricier and offers powerful performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks with its premium graphics card and processor, but has lower portability due to its larger size and weight. Its higher-quality screen, suited for gaming or color-critical tasks, offers a high refresh rate but it isn't touchscreen. On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga 6 is more affordable and portable, with longer battery life and a touchscreen display, but it is less powerful, making it suitable for general use rather than intensive gaming or specialized professional applications. The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Yoga 6 is good.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X outshines the Lenovo Yoga 6 in engineering and design use due to its superior CPU (Intel i9 vs. AMD Ryzen 7), higher-performing GPU (Nvidia RTX 4070 vs. integrated Vega 8), and better screen quality with a higher resolution and refresh rate. Although the Lenovo Yoga 6 offers greater portability and longer battery life, the keyboard and speaker quality, as well as the operation noise, do not match the higher standards set by the Aorus 15X.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo Yoga 6 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers superior color accuracy and higher resolution, making it well-suited for tasks that require attention to detail, like engineering and design; however, its low refresh rate isn't ideal for the smooth visuals required in high-paced gaming or 3D rendering. On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga 6, with its fair screen characteristics, provides a balanced experience for general tasks but lacks the wider color gamut and high brightness that professional design work demands. Neither is optimal for gaming or 3D applications due to poor refresh rates, which are crucial for a fluid and responsive visual experience in those fields.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo Yoga 6 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The AMD R7-7730U in the Lenovo Yoga 6 13 provides a suitable answer to the limited cooling capabilities of a convertible - especially in tablet mode. It draws high computing power from a comparatively limited power supply so that less heat has to be dissipated at the same time."
