If you're looking for better performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X with its superior graphics processing unit (GPU) and processor is the stronger option; however, keep in mind that it comes with a higher price and slightly less battery life. It also offers a higher-resolution display. On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 16 is less expensive and still capable for general use and gaming, but it won't match the Aorus in demanding applications. Both have the same amount of memory, but the Aorus has twice the storage capacity. While both are similar in weight, the Aorus has a larger power brick to carry, making it slightly less portable than the Lenovo LOQ 16. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo LOQ 16 is good.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X excels in gaming and 3D applications due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 4070 GPU and a high screen refresh rate, providing smooth visuals critical for fast-paced action. In contrast, the Lenovo LOQ 16, with its Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU and lower screen refresh rate, still delivers quality performance but might not be as visually fluid or detail-rich as the Aorus 15X when handling the same tasks.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers a clear, vibrant display suitable for everyday tasks due to its high resolution and brightness, making texts and images sharp and easy to view. For engineering and design, it provides accurate color representation but falls short for gaming and 3D where a fast refresh rate is crucial for smooth motion, and it doesn't excel in this area. Meanwhile, the Lenovo LOQ 16 also has a display that's bright and sharp for daily activities and decent color coverage for professional work, though it too lacks the high refresh rate needed for optimal gaming and 3D applications.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo LOQ 16 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"Gaming laptops with an RTX 4060 are available starting from about 1,000 Euros (~$1,060), even in 16-inch format. For the supposedly affordable Lenovo LOQ 16 (1,500 Euros, ~$1,591), the manufacturer particularly saves in the equipment and materials compared to the more expensive Legion series. In addition, the LOQ is slightly heavier and more bulky. What remains is anything but a laptop full of difficult compromises. Instead, this is a more than solid gaming laptop that focusses on the 3D performance.Q is slightly heavier and more bulky."
