The Gigabyte Aorus 15X comes at a higher price with more powerful components like the Intel i9 processor and RTX 4070 GPU, making it well-suited for demanding tasks like engineering work, 3D rendering, or machine learning. Its battery life is lower, and it's also heavier, which can affect portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is relatively more affordable, with a Ryzen 7 processor and RTX 3060 GPU; though slightly less powerful, it still handles general gaming and use efficiently. It's lighter and has longer battery life, so it's easier to carry around for daily use. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is good.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is very good for engineering and design due to its superior CPU and GPU, which are crucial for resource-intensive tasks, and its greater onboard storage capacity; however, it is heavier and slightly less portable than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, which offers good performance for engineering with a capable CPU and GPU, a lighter build for better portability, and a high-quality screen, although it has less storage and a lower screen resolution.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X, with its high-resolution and bright display, provides a clear and vibrant viewing experience for general tasks, while its color accuracy is beneficial for engineering and design work, ensuring that the colors you see on screen are true to life. However, its lower refresh rate means that for fast-paced gaming or 3D rendering, the screen may not be as smooth, potentially leading to a less responsive experience. Conversely, the Lenovo Legion Slim offers similar benefits for general use and design-related tasks, balancing resolution and color fidelity, but like the Aorus, its gaming and 3D capabilities are limited due to a refresh rate that isn't as high as dedicated gaming laptops.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
