The Gigabyte Aorus 15X, while more expensive, offers a faster main processor, superior GPU, larger storage, and more RAM, making it better suited for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering tasks. It also comes with a higher resolution screen, greater refresh rate, and longer battery capacity but is slightly heavier. The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is more budget-friendly, has adequate specs for general gaming and use, and is lighter making it more portable, though it has less storage, lower RAM, and a less powerful processor and GPU which may not handle intensive tasks as well. Each laptop's suitability thus aligns with your intended usage and budget. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers a high-resolution, bright display with a panel that renders colors vividly, making it easy on the eyes for daily tasks, while the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 has a decent display that is perfectly adequate for everyday activities. The Aorus 15X's display is also well-suited for engineering and design due to its wide color gamut, ensuring that professionals who need accurate color representation are satisfied, whereas the IdeaPad Gaming 3 is less optimal in color reproduction but still good enough for most design tasks. However, when it comes to gaming and 3D work, both laptops fall short due to lower refresh rates which can hinder the smoothness of motion that's crucial for immersive gaming and fluid animation.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 is one of the most powerful RTX 3050 Ti laptops. If you disregard the mediocre quality of the case in terms of the material and workmanship, Lenovo has created a successful budget gaming laptop with the IdeaPad Gaming. Thanks to high TDPs and constant performance development, the Core i5-12500H and GeForce RTX 3050 Ti are able to show their full power, while in contrast, the (mostly slower) competitors deliver a better battery life. However, hardly any of the alternative laptops are able to reach the image quality of the Gaming 3. Most of the competitors are left behind in terms of the color space and brightness."
