The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is more expensive but offers superior performance for intensive tasks such as engineering, 3D rendering, and gaming, due to its high-end processor and advanced graphics card. It has more storage and memory, a higher resolution display with fast motion capability, and hardware ray tracing. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15", on the other hand, is more budget-friendly and offers longer battery life and lighter weight, which is great for portability and general use. Its performance is suitable for everyday tasks, but it lacks the high-powered components necessary for demanding engineering software or gaming. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15X offers a higher resolution and brightness, which enhances the visual experience for general use and detailed work in engineering, but its lower refresh rate is a disadvantage for gaming where smooth motion is crucial. The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" provides adequate resolution and brightness for everyday tasks and sufficient quality for engineering applications, though it lacks the wide color gamuts required for the most accurate color work. Both laptops fall short for gaming and 3D applications due to poor refresh rates, but the Gigabyte's superior screen specifications may provide a slightly better experience in those scenarios despite the limitation.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 5 is convincing due to its long battery life. The device scores points especially with its large battery and long battery runtimes combined with its low consumption. The CPU and GPU perform in the test as one would expect, and in line with what was familiar from the somewhat smaller 14-inch sister model, the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14."
