When choosing between the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15", consider how you'll use the laptop. The Gigabyte Aorus 15X stands out for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming due to its more powerful processor and graphics card but is more expensive, heavier, and has shorter battery life. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 offers better battery life and is more portable due to its lighter weight, at a lower price, but is equipped for less demanding general use and less suitable for gaming or engineering. If portability and battery life are priorities and your tasks are more everyday, the Lenovo might suit your needs better, whereas if you need higher performance for specialized tasks and can handle a higher price and less portability, the Gigabyte would be a better fit. The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X likely has a high-resolution display with vibrant colors and brightness levels that make it pleasing to the eye, which benefits activities like browsing and streaming. In engineering and design, this laptop's screen probably covers a wider range of colors, which is crucial for accurately depicting designs and editing images. However, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is key, the lower refresh rate of the Aorus may lead to less fluid visual experiences compared to screens optimized for these purposes.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15X and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
