The Gigabyte Aorus 15P offers superior performance with its higher-end processor and graphics card, making it better suited for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D modeling, or machine learning. It also has a larger storage capacity and more memory, which can be beneficial for demanding software and multitasking. However, this laptop has less battery life compared to the HP Victus 15 and is heavier, which could be a downside if portability is important. In contrast, the HP Victus 15 is generally more affordable but with more modest specs, making it suitable for everyday tasks and lighter gaming. It's lighter and offers longer battery life, which is great if you're on the go. Consider how much you value performance over cost and portability when making your choice. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15P and HP Victus 15 are both good for general use, though the Gigabyte Aorus 15P is somewhat better.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15P boasts a more powerful CPU, more RAM, and larger storage, making it suited for demanding tasks, whereas the HP Victus 15, despite having a less powerful CPU and less RAM, offers very good heat management and a slightly better battery life, appropriate for users who prioritize longevity and comfort in general use scenarios. Both laptops feature quality IPS displays and similar portability, yet the Aorus 15P’s higher-end GPU allows for more intensive applications, including gaming, if that's a consideration for the user.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15P has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, where the clarity, brightness, and sharpness of the display are critical, both the Gigabyte Aorus 15P and HP Victus 15 offer displays with good resolution and adequate brightness, making text and images clear and vibrant. In engineering and design, color accuracy matters significantly, and the Aorus 15P's better coverage of professional color gamuts ensures more precise color representation, which is vital for detailed work, though the Victus 15 is serviceable with fair color performance. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Aorus 15P falls short due to its lower refresh rate, which means less fluid visuals compared to what gamers typically look for, whereas the HP Victus 15 also provides a subpar experience for the same reason despite its adequate resolution and panel technology.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15P and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"The Aorus 15P is a high-end gaming laptop with fast 360 Hz display. Gaming performance in the Aorus 15P YD is very high thanks to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 installed here. However, with the use of the Intel Core i7-11800H, CPU performance also closes in on the strong competition from AMD. SSD performance is excellent as well, and it leaves no room for criticism. Thanks to the built-in Intel Core i7-11800H, the system performance of the Aorus 15P YD increases significantly."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
