The Gigabyte Aorus 15 offers stronger performance for 3D, machine learning, and engineering tasks, but it's bulkier and has a shorter battery life than the Lenovo Flex 5 16. The Flex is more portable with better battery life, making it well suited for general use and carrying around, but its performance for more intensive tasks is not as strong. The Aorus has a high refresh rate display without touch capability, geared towards gaming, while the Flex includes a touch screen and higher aspect ratio, ideal for productivity and media. If budget is a concern, the Flex also comes at a lower price compared to the Aorus. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Lenovo Flex 5 16 is good.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15 stands out for engineering and design use due to its powerful i7 processor, ample RAM, high-end Nvidia RTX GPU which enhances rendering and computational tasks, and a high-quality screen; though it is less portable and has a louder operating noise, it compensates with superior performance. The Lenovo Flex 5 16, while still good for engineering and design due to a decent i7 processor, sufficient RAM, and a high-resolution screen with touch capability, relies on integrated graphics which are less powerful than dedicated GPUs and is more portable with better battery life but may struggle with more intensive engineering software.

The Gigabyte Aorus 15 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aorus 15 likely has higher resolution and brightness, which enhances clarity and visibility for general use and engineering, with a panel type that emphasizes accurate colors important for designers. However, its poor screen quality for gaming and 3D suggests a lower refresh rate, which can lead to motion blur and less smooth visuals in fast-paced scenarios. The Lenovo Flex 5 16, while offering a decent all-around display for everyday tasks and design projects with satisfying color representation, also lacks the higher refresh rate necessary for optimal gaming and 3D work.

How the Gigabyte Aorus 15 and the Lenovo Flex 5 16 compare to other laptops
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15 is a power-hungry gaming beast. The Aorus 15 is designed to run games at QHD and high to max settings. But it also cuts a good figure in other demanding applications such as video editing and rendering. This is made possible by the Core i7 12700H and GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop inside the machine. A lightning-fast PCIe 4.0 SSD (1 TB) allows for short loading times."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a solidly equipped, 2-in-1 in the lower price segment. Performance is definitely sufficient for everyday tasks and in tests the battery proved itself to be very economical. That aside, there is a lot of standard fare on show and a search for real highlights ends in vain. The low color coverage and reflective display can be avoided by going for an optional 2.5K display but this also presumably results in poorer battery life. The cooling uses only one fan and leads to a raised temperature on one side of the device under load. Additionally, there is very loud fan noise, also under load or when gaming. On top of that, we also occasionally noticed electronic noises."
