The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers high performance for engineering, 3D rendering, and gaming due to its powerful processor and dedicated graphics card. Its OLED screen provides excellent colors and contrast, but with a heavier build and shorter battery life, it's less portable. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, on the other hand, is more portable and has a longer battery life, making it suitable for general use and business applications. Its integrated graphics are less suitable for intensive gaming or 3D tasks. Choosing between them depends on whether you prioritize performance and display quality over portability and battery life. The Gigabyte Aero 5 is good for gaming and AI, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 provides a superior gaming and 3D experience due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card and OLED screen, which offer high fidelity visuals and deep contrast, although its refresh rate is limited to 60Hz. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s has a less powerful Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics and an IPS screen, which means it can handle casual gaming and basic 3D tasks, but it cannot match the Aero 5's performance or display capabilities for more demanding uses.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 boasts a high-resolution display that, along with its brightness, makes for sharp and vibrant visuals, which are ideal for everyday tasks and detailed engineering work. For engineers and designers, its wide color gamut coverage allows for accurate color representation which is essential for those fields. However, its lower refresh rate may not be as smooth for 3D applications and gaming, where fast-paced visuals are better served by higher refresh rates.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
