The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers a compelling balance of price and features, with its OLED screen providing excellent color and contrast which is ideal for tasks where visuals are a priority. If long battery life and portability are less of a concern and you're on a budget, it could be a solid choice. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 18 steps up with a more powerful processor, more memory, and a higher-refresh rate display suitable for fast-paced gaming and intensive engineering applications. The tradeoff comes in the form of a higher price and reduced battery life. For those needing ultimate performance and whose budget allows, the Razer Blade 18 is a strong candidate, but for those seeking value and superb visual quality, especially in design or video work, the Aero 5 should not be overlooked. The Razer Blade 18 is very good for general use, while the Gigabyte Aero 5 is good.
The Razer Blade 18 offers a more powerful CPU and double the RAM of the Gigabyte Aero 5, enhancing its capability for heavy multitasking and demanding applications, which is reflected in its higher general use score, while the Aero's OLED display provides superior screen quality with high color accuracy and contrast, yet, it compromises on battery life and portability compared to the Razer Blade 18 due to its slightly heavier build and lower battery capacity. Both laptops feature rich, colorful displays and ample storage but the Razer's higher refresh rate and larger screen size improve the visual experience, whereas its cut in portability and battery life is a consideration for users needing mobility over screen real estate.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Razer Blade 18 compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"Razer made a powerful laptop in the Blade 18, showing off a beautiful and fast display and the same high-quality build we’ve come to expect from this product line. It’s also quite expensive, which is hardly a surprise, but bears repeating even in this price range. It’s pricier than the Scar 18 despite an inferior GPU and half the storage, so you really have to want the Blade 18’s design to justify the cost."
