The Gigabyte Aero 5 is a more budget-friendly option compared to the MSI Stealth GS77, making it an attractive choice if you are price-sensitive. Both laptops have similar processors and graphics cards, providing comparable performance. However, the Aero 5's OLED screen offers vibrant colors and deeper blacks which is excellent for multimedia, but the Stealth GS77's larger IPS display with a higher refresh rate is better for gaming and productivity due to smoother visuals. The Stealth GS77 also has more memory, which can be crucial for demanding tasks and multitasking. If battery life is a concern, the Aero 5 has a slightly longer battery lifespan. The Stealth GS77, being thinner and lighter, would be more convenient for carrying around, though both are relatively heavy due to their powerful components. Additionally, the Stealth GS77 comes with Windows 11 Pro, which has additional features over the Aero 5's Windows 11 Home. Finally, the Stealth GS77's RGB keyboard adds a customizable aesthetic touch. Choose the Aero 5 for cost savings and an excellent display, or the Stealth GS77 for better gaming performance, more memory, and portability. Give Feedback

The MSI Stealth GS77 and Gigabyte Aero 5 are both very good for engineering and design.
The Gigabyte Aero 5's strong points for engineering and design use include a high-quality OLED screen that offers excellent color accuracy and contrast, alongside a powerful combination of processor and graphics card; however, its portability and operating noise are only fair, which could be a tradeoff for some users. The MSI Stealth GS77 also delivers robust performance with the same processor and GPU while offering more memory and an IPS screen with a higher refresh rate and a larger display, but similar to the Aero 5, it sacrifices some portability due to size and weight, and has a screen that, while large and fast, is less vibrant than the Aero's.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
