The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers an OLED display with a higher resolution, which leads to vibrant visuals excellent for creative professionals, while being more affordable. However, its refresh rate is lower, which might not be ideal for fast-paced gaming. On the other hand, the MSI Raider GE77Hx has a higher refresh rate IPS screen beneficial for gaming, a marginally more powerful CPU, and is slightly heavier. It comes with Windows 11 Pro instead of Home, suggesting better features for power users. If portability and battery life are concerns, the lighter Gigabyte might be preferable. Consider the Gigabyte for cost-effective creative work, or the MSI for a more powerful, gaming-focused experience. Give Feedback

The MSI Raider GE77Hx is very good for gaming and AI, while the Gigabyte Aero 5 is good.
The Gigabyte Aero 5's OLED screen, with its high screen quality, is great for gaming and 3D applications, but with a lower refresh rate, it may not be as smooth as some high-end gaming laptops. On the other hand, the MSI Raider GE77Hx offers a very high screen refresh rate, which is crucial for a fluid gaming experience, though its GPU is the same as the Aero 5's and the screen size is larger, which could be less color accurate but more immersive for gaming and 3D tasks.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the MSI Raider GE77Hx for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Raider GE77Hx has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a high-resolution display with strong brightness and panel type, which enhances visual clarity and detail for everyday tasks and professional design work, but its lower refresh rate hampers fast-paced gaming experiences where fluid motion is key. While the MSI Raider GE77Hx also offers sharp and bright imagery that benefits both general users and engineers, its wider color gamut capabilities ensure precision in color-sensitive tasks. However, for gamers and those working with 3D applications, the still limited refresh rate means the screen might not keep up with the rapid on-screen action, despite its satisfactory resolution and panel quality.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the MSI Raider GE77Hx compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The MSI Raider GE77 offers a lot of power for a lot of money. The main components consist of a Core i9-12900HX CPU, a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU (175 watts TGP, 16 GB VRAM), and 64 GB of RAM, which makes for a high overall performance level. The GeForce GPU in particular scores some of the highest scores we have seen from this chip. Both the CPU and the GPU are able to run at continuously high clock speeds. The relatively high heat and noise emissions match our expectations for this device class. With approximately 5.5 to 6.5 hours, the battery life is good for a powerful 4K laptop."
