The Gigabyte Aero 5, being more expensive, offers a larger screen with higher resolution and an OLED panel, which is excellent for color work and entertainment. It also boasts a more powerful processor and graphics card, making it suitable for intensive tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. However, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which may be a drawback if you need a portable device. In contrast, the LG Ultra 13 is less expensive, lighter, with longer battery life, making it highly portable. Its smaller, lower-resolution screen is less suited for color critical work and its integrated graphics are less capable for demanding software or gaming, but it's a good fit for general use and basic engineering tasks. The Gigabyte Aero 5 is good for gaming and AI, while the LG Ultra 13 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 outshines the LG Ultra 13 in gaming and 3D because it boasts a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card, which is superior for these tasks compared to the integrated graphics found in the LG Ultra 13's AMD Ryzen 7 4700U processor. Both laptops have similar screen refresh rates, but the GPU's capability is a crucial factor in rendering games and 3D applications smoothly.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 is very good for engineering and design, while the LG Ultra 13 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 excels in engineering and design tasks due to its powerful Intel CPU, high-end Nvidia graphics card, and superior OLED screen quality, which are critical for demanding applications and visual accuracy. However, the LG Ultra 13 offers greater portability and a higher-quality keyboard, but with a less powerful AMD CPU and integrated graphics, along with a lower-resolution IPS display, it might not handle intensive engineering tasks as well.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the LG Ultra 13 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 5's screen is vibrant and sharp, with high resolution and brightness that make everyday tasks pleasant and crisp visuals appealing for general use. Its wide color gamuts ensure that engineers and designers see accurate colors, crucial for their work, although it may lag in refresh rate, which is less ideal for the fast-paced visuals in gaming and 3D applications. In contrast, the LG Ultra 13 offers less extreme color accuracy, still sufficient for general and professional tasks, but like the Aero 5, it doesn't cater well to the high refresh rate demands of gaming and 3D content.

"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The 13.3-inch LG Gram is a fine fit if you need to travel as light as possible for as long as possible without spending a fortune to do it. It might not be particularly sturdy or have an eye-catching design and its webcam is less than ideal, but with its sharp touch display, comfortable backlit keyboard, responsive touchpad and a fingerprint reader for extra security, the Gram makes a respectible everyday laptop for business or school work."
