The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers high performance for 3D, machine learning, and gaming due to its powerful GPU and CPU but is heavier and has shorter battery life. The LG Gram 17, however, boasts a lighter design and longer battery life, making it a better fit for those who prioritize portability and battery over intensive tasks, despite its less powerful integrated graphics. Both have similar price points and high-resolution screens, but the Aero 5's OLED screen excels in color reproduction and contrast, beneficial for creative work that demands color accuracy. Choose based on whether performance or portability and battery life are your primary concerns. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the LG Gram 17 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the LG Gram 17 has a better screen for content creation.
For general use, the Aero 5's superior resolution and brightness make it more appealing, displaying sharp images and vibrant colors, whereas the LG Gram 17, while also good, might not be as visually striking. Engineering and design professionals will appreciate the Aero 5's wide color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation for meticulous work, an area where the LG Gram 17 performs well but doesn't quite match up. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Aero 5 falls short due to a less than ideal refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth motion, and while the LG Gram 17 also isn't optimized for these uses, both might disappoint gamers used to faster screens.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the LG Gram 17 compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The LG Gram 17 is a light office laptop with a large display and great battery life. The newest incarnation of the Gram 17 can be classified as a model update. LG uses the predecessor's compact, light magnesium case along with an identical port configuration (including 2x Thunderbolt 4) and keyboard. Changes can be found in the hardware. With the Gram 17 (2022), LG offers a light (approx. 1,350 g), mobile work device - and finally with a matte display."
