The Gigabyte Aero 5 is good for gaming and AI, while the LG Gram 16 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 excels in gaming and 3D tasks because it is equipped with a powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, whereas the LG Gram 16, which has a less capable Intel Iris Xe GPU, offers a level of performance that is adequate for less demanding games and 3D applications. The Aero's higher-grade GPU provides better screen refresh rates and overall performance, while the LG Gram focuses more on portability with its lighter design and longer battery life, but compromises on gaming and 3D capabilities.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the LG Gram 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers a high-resolution display with vibrant color coverage, making it suitable for engineering and design work due to its broader color gamuts, ensuring accurate color reproduction. However, for gaming, its lower refresh rate may not provide as fluid motion as desired, which could detract from the gaming experience. The LG Gram 16, with a focus on providing a balance of resolution and brightness, delivers a satisfactory visual experience for everyday tasks and professional design, but like the Gigabyte, its modest refresh rate limits its appeal for fast-paced gaming or 3D rendering.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the LG Gram 16 compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The LG Gram 16 is a lightweight device with stability issues. The LG Gram 16Z90Q with a Core i7-1260P is made with portability in mind and places less of a focus on users with high demands on performance. The compact and light chassis is particularly practical when you are on the go. The device is not only comfortably small and lightweight, it also boasts a great battery life. When connected to mains, on the other hand, the 16-inch device is rather disappointing. The standard cooling mode causes extreme volatility in terms of CPU, SSD and iGPU performance. The meager stability of the chassis may also put off some potential buyers."
