If you need a laptop with high-resolution graphics and powerful performance for tasks like video editing or graphic design, the Gigabyte Aero 5 with its OLED screen and higher-end graphics card may be a better choice, though it is slightly heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the Lenovo Legion Slim 7. However, if portability, better battery life, and a high refresh rate screen for smoother visuals are more important for you, especially if you are into gaming, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 would be suitable. It's also a bit lighter, making it easier to carry around. Both laptops are similarly priced, but the Lenovo tends to be slightly less expensive. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 and Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" are both good for gaming and AI, though the Gigabyte Aero 5 is somewhat better.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers superior gaming and 3D capabilities primarily because it has a more powerful GPU, the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, and a high-resolution OLED screen, though it has a lower screen refresh rate compared to the Lenovo Legion Slim 7, which has an Nvidia RTX 3060 and a high refresh rate IPS screen that favors fast-paced gaming. While both are suitable for gaming and 3D tasks, the Gigabyte Aero 5 may provide a better visual experience due to its screen quality, and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 may appeal to those favoring smoother gameplay with its higher refresh rate.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 boasts a high-resolution, bright display with a premium panel type, ensuring crisp and vibrant visuals for everyday tasks and detailed work in engineering and design due to its wide color gamuts. However, its lower refresh rate makes it less suitable for gaming and 3D applications, where fast motion can appear less smooth.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" offers a quality display with respectable brightness and resolution for daily use and sufficient color range for professional design work, but its gaming and 3D performance are hindered by a less responsive screen with a modest refresh rate.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
