The Gigabyte Aero 5 and Lenovo Legion Slim 5i are both suitable for general use and gaming, but they have their differences. The Gigabyte Aero 5 is less expensive and features an OLED display with higher resolution, better for creative work and movie watching but at a lower refresh rate, which is not as optimal for gaming. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion Slim 5i, although slightly more expensive, has a higher refresh rate IPS display, making it better for gaming but with a lower resolution. The Legion Slim 5i's battery capacity is less than the Aero 5's, which can impact how long you can use the laptop away from a power source. Despite these differences, both come with similar storage and RAM, and their CPUs are quite comparable, although the Legion Slim 5i comes with a newer generation CPU and potentially better graphics card. The Aero 5 might offer a better multimedia experience, while the Legion Slim 5i caters more to gamers who also prefer a more recent model. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 5i for general use, engineering and design, and content creation, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 5i has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a display that shines in vividness and clarity, with its high resolution and brightness making it excellent for general tasks and detail-rich work like engineering and design, thanks to its wide color gamut. However, its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for immersive gaming or fast-paced 3D applications where smoother motion is key. The Lenovo Legion Slim 5i, while very good for everyday tasks with respectable resolution and luminosity, falls short for professional color work and gaming due to less extensive color coverage and an unexceptional refresh rate.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Lenovo Legion Slim 5i compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 acknowledges that a gaming laptop doesn’t have to be as thick as possible and can still ensure adequate cooling when the muscles need flexing. To this end, in the Slim 5 Gen 8, it finds a neat balance of refined, trimmed-down design that still lets its internals cruise (even above their max power ratings). Lenovo then added in some high-end build quality with an altogether excellent keyboard that’s useful for both work and play."
