The Gigabyte Aero 5, with its OLED display, excels in color accuracy and could be preferable for creative professionals who rely on precise color representation for photo and video editing. However, with a heavier build and a lower refresh rate, it's less convenient for travel and not as suitable for fast-paced gaming as the Lenovo Legion 7. The Legion 7 offers a higher screen refresh rate and slightly better keyboard quality, making it more suitable for gaming and general use. Both have similar storage, RAM, and are labeled as gaming laptops, but the Legion 7 holds a slight edge in portability due to being lighter. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 7 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo Legion 7 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
When considering a laptop for general use, the Gigabyte Aero 5 stands out with a vibrant display that offers crisp images and good brightness, making it comfortable to use for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. For engineering and design work, the Aero 5's advantage lies in its wide color gamut, ensuring that professionals who require accurate color representation, such as graphic designers, can trust the display for their precise work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the Aero 5 falls short due to a lower refresh rate, meaning it's less smooth in showing fast-paced action, while the Lenovo Legion 7, although slightly lesser in its general display metrics, might still not satisfy gamers due to a similarly lower refresh rate, impacting the overall gaming experience.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 and Lenovo Legion 7 are both good for general use.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers superb screen quality with its OLED display, which is superior for general use that involves viewing high-resolution content, but it's less portable and has shorter battery life than the Lenovo Legion 7, which also offers high-quality CPU and RAM configurations for smooth performance. The Legion 7, on the other hand, delivers slightly better battery life and a more portable design, along with excellent keyboard quality, making it conducive to both work and leisure activities, but its screen, while still very good, falls short of the Aero 5's display in terms of color and quality.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 and Lenovo Legion 7 are both good for gaming and AI.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 is very good for gaming and 3D thanks to its powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and an OLED screen for rich colors, but it only has a 60Hz refresh rate, making it less smooth for fast-paced games compared to the Lenovo Legion 7, which has a less powerful RTX 3070 but a higher 165Hz refresh rate, offering a more fluid gaming experience. Although both laptops have high-quality screens and robust CPUs, the Aero 5 provides higher screen quality with better color accuracy, while the Legion 7 focuses on faster on-screen motion which is crucial for gaming responsiveness.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Lenovo Legion 7 compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The Lenovo Legion 7 is a fast 16-inch gamer with 165 Hz display. The new Lenovo Legion 7 is a very good gaming notebook that, despite its comparatively compact compact 16-inch case, does not have to do without the most powerful components. Thanks to good cooling, no compromises are made in terms of performance. Both the Core i9-12900HX and the GeForce RTX 3080 Ti perform at a very high level."
