The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers better screen quality with higher resolution and color accuracy, which is excellent for professional photo and video work, but its lower battery life makes it less suited for extended use away from power outlets. It's heavier, which makes it less portable. The Lenovo Legion 5i Pro has a faster display refresh rate, making it better for gaming and fast-motion visuals, it's lighter for improved portability, and it costs less, but it has smaller storage capacity and a slightly less color-accurate screen. Both have similar performance for general use, 3D/machine learning, and engineering tasks. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 and Lenovo Legion Pro 5i are both very good for engineering and design.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 is favored for engineering and design due to its high-resolution OLED screen, providing excellent color accuracy, a vital requirement for precision tasks, plus a powerful CPU and GPU combo suitable for demanding software. Compared to this, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i features a newer CPU and a high-performance GPU as well, but with a lower-resolution IPS display, it trades off some screen quality for a higher refresh rate, which may appeal to users requiring smoother visuals for dynamic applications.

How the Gigabyte Aero 5 and the Lenovo Legion Pro 5i compare to other laptops
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
"The midpriced Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 8 follows some of our favorite gaming machines, including last year's model and the higher-end Legion Pro 7i Gen 8 tested earlier this year. But pedigree doesn't count for much in the computer world, and gaming laptops require a certain level of power and graphics performance to justify their prices. The Pro 5i Gen 8 just doesn't do that, offering middling CPU and GPU performance rather than the sort of muscle that would make it a great value."
