The Gigabyte Aero 5 is a higher-cost option that offers stellar screen quality and strong performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks due to its powerful processor and graphics card. It has a larger storage capacity and more RAM, but is heavier and has a shorter battery life, making it less portable. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 is more budget-friendly with decent overall performance for general use and a longer battery life, making it much more portable. Although its screen is respectable, it isn't as high-definition or color-accurate as the Aero 5, and it lacks the hardware for intense gaming or heavy computational tasks. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 5 and Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 are both good for general use, though the Gigabyte Aero 5 is somewhat better.
The Gigabyte Aero 5 offers a robust CPU and GPU combination, plentiful RAM and storage, and a superior OLED screen with high resolution and color coverage, which enhances general use experience but at the expense of battery life and portability. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3's lesser power CPU and integrated graphics, moderate RAM and storage, and standard IPS screen provide adequate performance for general tasks, prioritize battery longevity, and offer better portability due to its lighter weight and smaller form factor.

The Gigabyte Aero 5 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 5's screen quality excels for general use and engineering/design tasks due to its high resolution and brightness, along with wide color coverage that brings out detailed and vibrant visuals. However, for gaming and 3D, it falls short because of its lower refresh rate, which can make fast-paced content less smooth. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 offers a fair visual experience for both everyday tasks and professional design work because it has decent resolution and acceptable color accuracy, but it’s not as sharp or vivid as higher-end displays and also lacks a high refresh rate for gaming.

"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and John Peroramas | May 2023
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 3i is decent for use as a workstation. Its Intel CPU and integrated graphics can only handle light productivity tasks, not demanding workloads like video editing or 3D graphics. You also can't do any color-critical work because the available displays have a narrow color gamut. It has a good port selection, but its USB-C lacks Thunderbolt 4 support. On the upside, it has a comfortable keyboard and doesn't get hot or loud under load."
