The Gigabyte Aero 5 stands out for superior performance, which is especially noticeable for engineering tasks, 3D rendering, and likely gaming due to its high-end graphics processor. Its OLED screen with higher resolution will also offer crisper and more vibrant visuals, making it suitable for tasks where image quality is paramount. On the downside, its bulkier build and lower battery life make it less portable than the HP Spectre x360. On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 is lighter, offers better battery life, and has a touchscreen with a taller aspect ratio beneficial for productivity tasks. It's also generally less expensive while still providing ample performance for general use. However, it falls short for intensive gaming, engineering, or heavy creative work due to a less powerful integrated graphics processor. Give Feedback

The Tech Revolutionist

Zhi Cheng | May 2022
"It is unfortunate that the Gigabyte AERO notebook series have seem to lost its charm, as it’s not exactly any much different from the AORUS series now. Regardless, content creators and designers will certainly still appreciate the features on the AERO 5 XE4, which are fundamental to their work. This largely revolved around the notebook’s display, which is colour calibrated and validated, high resolution (4K) and with great AMOLED colour representation. Now that the AERO 5 XE4 has improved its performance with the latest CPU and GPU, the professionals can also appreciate the improved productivity from the notebook."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2022
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
