The Gigabyte Aero 17, with its larger screen and more powerful graphics, excels in demanding tasks such as 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming. However, it's less portable and has shorter battery life. If you prioritize performance for engineering, intensive tasks, or gaming, and don't mind carrying a heavier laptop, the Aero 17 is suitable. In contrast, the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is more portable and offers longer battery life, making it great for general use and mobility. Although less powerful than the Aero 17, it's also more affordable. Consider the ThinkBook 13s if you favor portability, battery life, and a lower price over high-end performance. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 17 has a better screen than the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
If you primarily engage in general computing tasks like browsing the web or working with office applications, both the Gigabyte Aero 17's and Lenovo ThinkBook 13s's screen resolutions and brightness will provide clear and vibrant visuals. For engineering and design work where precise color representation is crucial, the Gigabyte Aero 17 stands out with a wider color gamut, ensuring your designs will have accurate shades and tones. However, if you're into high-speed gaming or creating 3D content, the Gigabyte Aero 17 may not be the best fit due to a lower refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth motion and responsiveness, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, although also not optimized for these tasks, faces similar limitations.

Although they have very similar scores, PerfectRec considers Gigabyte Aero 17 to be very good for general use, while the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s is good.
The Gigabyte Aero 17 offers powerful performance suitable for various tasks with its high-quality CPU, ample RAM, and superior screen quality, but it is less portable and has shorter battery life compared to the lighter Lenovo ThinkBook 13s, which also has a capable CPU and enough RAM for general use alongside a quality screen but emphasizes better battery life and portability. While both have substantial storage, quality keyboards, and manage heat and noise well, the Aero 17's larger screen and higher power components may appeal more to those prioritizing performance over the ThinkBook 13s's advantage in mobility and longer usage away from a power outlet.

How the Gigabyte Aero 17 and the Lenovo ThinkBook 13s compare to other laptops
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
"The best thing about the ThinkBook 13S is that it’s a good deal. Business buyers looking for ThinkPad-level performance and software without ThinkPad pricing will probably find the ThinkBook a solid option. While nothing about it is really spectacular, it’s certainly unusual to see the ThinkBook’s screen resolution at a sub-$1,000 price, and its performance will be more than adequate for most office tasks. The generous port selection, 16:10 aspect ratio, physical webcam shutter, and clear audio are certainly icing on the cake."
