The Gigabyte Aero 17 is a powerhouse for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning, thanks to its high-performance Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU and Intel i7-12700H processor. Its large 17.3-inch Mini LED display with 4K resolution and high color accuracy is ideal for creatives and professionals who need a vibrant and detailed screen. However, it's bulkier and less portable, with a shorter battery life, making it more suitable for stationary use. In contrast, the Microsoft Surface Laptop 6 13.5" offers a more compact and portable design with a longer battery life, perfect for on-the-go general use. Its 13.5-inch touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio is great for productivity and note-taking. While it has a less powerful Intel Arc GPU and Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, it's still capable of handling everyday tasks with ease. The Surface Laptop is also more budget-friendly and has a better keyboard and webcam, making it a solid choice for students and professionals who prioritize portability and all-day use over raw performance. NotebookCheck

Mike Wobker | May 2021
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
