If you prioritize a higher-resolution display and a lower price, the Gigabyte Aero 17 would better suit your needs. However, if your work involves tasks that benefit from higher screen refresh rates and you need more built-in RAM, consider the MSI Stealth GS77, although it carries a higher price tag and offers less storage space. The Aero 17 also boasts a mini LED display with possibly better color representation, which could be significant for tasks like photo or video editing. Both laptops are sizeable with large screens and similar weights, but with the MSI Stealth GS77 being slightly lighter. Despite these differences, they share the same main processor and GPU, making them equally capable in terms of raw performance. Both are not highly portable due to their size and weight, and with similar battery sizes, you can expect comparable battery life from both machines. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aero 17 has a better screen than the MSI Stealth GS77 for general use, and engineering and design, while the MSI Stealth GS77 has a better screen for content creation.
For the Gigabyte Aero 17, its screen excels in general use with its clear resolution and brightness, and for engineering and design, it showcases accurate colors within professional color spaces. However, for gaming and 3D where fast-paced visuals are crucial, its lower refresh rate hampers performance. Similarly, the MSI Stealth GS77 serves well for general activities and design work with its vibrant display and color accuracy, yet falls short for gaming due to the lack of a high refresh rate, making fast-moving images less smooth.

How the Gigabyte Aero 17 and the MSI Stealth GS77 compare to other laptops
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
"The MSI Stealth GS77 is better than the GS76... mostly. The GS77 is a few steps forward and a few steps back from the GS76. Improvements are numerous including the stronger and more rigid skeleton, higher resolution webcam, larger clickpad, easier serviceability, relatively similar battery runtimes, newer display options, and higher performance at about the same TDP and TGP levels as before. CPU performance is better than expected even when compared to other laptops with Core i7 or Core i9 processors. The newer model feels more substantial than the outgoing one for higher quality impressions as well."
