The Gigabyte Aero 17, being higher-priced, offers a powerful dedicated graphics card, large storage capacity, and robust engineering performance, suitable for intensive tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning. However, it is heavier and has a lower battery life, which affects its portability. In contrast, the HP Spectre x360 is more affordable, has a touchscreen with a higher pixel density, and considerable battery life, making it highly portable and suitable for general use, with decent performance for everyday tasks and some creative work, but it falls short for intensive gaming or engineering software due to its integrated graphics. The Gigabyte Aero 17 is good for gaming and AI, while the HP Spectre x360 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aero 17 is equipped with a higher-tier Nvidia RTX GPU and a higher screen refresh rate, which are crucial for smooth gaming and 3D rendering experiences, whereas the HP Spectre x360 features a lower-power Intel integrated graphics and a standard refresh rate suitable for casual gaming and general use. The Aero 17's hardware is more powerful, making it better for intensive tasks but this also leads to reduced battery life and a heavier build, contrasting with the Spectre x360 which offers more portability and a longer battery life but with less graphical performance.

The Gigabyte Aero 17 has a better screen than the HP Spectre x360 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design, while the HP Spectre x360 has a better screen for content creation.
The Gigabyte Aero 17 boasts a high-resolution display that's bright and offers wide color gamuts, providing sharp and accurate visuals essential for engineering and design tasks, where color precision matters, but its lower refresh rate impacts gaming and 3D performance. Conversely, the HP Spectre x360 delivers a crisp and bright image with a good resolution for general and design uses, yet still lacks the high refresh rate desired for 3D applications and gaming. Both laptops prioritize professional and general use with their screen attributes, but might not satisfy avid gamers or 3D developers looking for smoother visual experiences.

How the Gigabyte Aero 17 and the HP Spectre x360 compare to other laptops
"Not only is the Aero 17 a very good laptop for gamers but also for content creators. With the upgrade to the Intel Core i9-11980HK, Gigabyte particularly improved the system performance. In addition, the hardware package is rounded by the extremely fast SSD and 32 GB of working memory in dual-channel mode. Compared to the predecessor, the battery life is reduced only moderately, and the 4K display also basically keeps its good qualities."
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
