The Lenovo Legion 5 15" is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook 14 is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook 14 is considered fair for gaming and 3D, chiefly because its integrated Intel GPU and 90Hz screen refresh rate are adequate but not designed for high-end gaming performance. In contrast, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" boasts a dedicated Nvidia GPU and a higher 165Hz refresh rate, features that cater to the demands of gaming and 3D applications, hence its good standing in these areas.

For general use, the ASUS Zenbook 14's high resolution and brightness provide crisp, clear visuals, while its panel type ensures wide viewing angles, making it very suitable. Engineering and design professionals benefit from the Zenbook's broad color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation for detailed work. However, its lower refresh rate makes the Zenbook less ideal for 3D applications and gaming, where smoother motion from a higher refresh rate is crucial for an optimal experience.

How the ASUS Zenbook 14 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
