If you need a laptop with high performance for tasks like 3D modeling, gaming, or engineering software, the MSI GP66 Leopard is a strong choice. However, it's heavier, which compromises portability. On the other hand, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED offers a balance with good performance for general use and media with its OLED screen, in a more portable and likely more affordable package. Yet, it won't match the MSI's power for intensive tasks. Battery life is usually longer on laptops like the ASUS that aren't geared towards high-performance tasks. Consider what's more important for your daily use: portability and battery life, or the ability to handle demanding applications. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the MSI GP66 Leopard for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED boasts an OLED display, which ensures vibrant colors and deep blacks, making it ideal for both general use and engineering tasks where color accuracy is crucial; however, OLED typically has lower refresh rates, which is not optimal for the fast-paced visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. The MSI GP66 Leopard, with a standard LCD, provides good color quality and brightness suited for everyday tasks and sufficient for engineering work but lacks the superior color range of OLED; plus, its refresh rate, while decent, may not meet the demands of high-end 3D gaming. For dedicated gamers and those heavily involved in 3D work, a laptop with a higher refresh rate would be more suitable, while users focused on general use and engineering would benefit from the superior color performance of the Vivobook's OLED screen.

How the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and the MSI GP66 Leopard compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
"The MSI GP66 Leopard is a good budget high-performance gamer. The MSI also does a lot right outside of the pure performance despite it's low price. For example, the adaptive cooling system really surprised us positively, even in Extreme Performance Mode. And the display is not a budget panel either, but at least outshines the competition in terms of brightness. Of course, you also have to accept a few compromises in this price category. These include the Leopard's poor battery runtimes and the less than optimal build quality, which is also noticeable in the more complicated maintenance."
