The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED offers higher performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, engineering, and gaming, thanks to a more powerful processor and better graphics capabilities. Its OLED screen delivers superior color accuracy and contrast, suitable for tasks where visual quality is important, like photo editing or content creation. However, it has a shorter battery life and is slightly heavier, which may impact portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is less expensive, lighter with a longer battery life, making it more portable. Its performance is adequate for general use and moderate workloads, but it may not handle intensive tasks as well. The IdeaPad's IPS touchscreen offers good viewing angles and the convenience of touch interaction. If visual tasks and performance are priorities, the ASUS is the better choice; if cost, battery life, and portability are more important, consider the Lenovo. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Vivobook with its OLED display provides vibrant colors and high contrast, ideal for both engineering designs that benefit from accurate color representation and general use where a sharp display enhances the experience. However, while OLED screens are known for their superior color and viewing angles, they typically don't offer high refresh rates, making them less suitable for 3D gaming where smoother motion is crucial. The Lenovo IdeaPad's fair screen quality in general use and design tasks indicates adequate resolution and brightness, but its color range might not be as wide, and it would also lack the high refresh rate desired for gaming.

"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
