The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED is often a bit more costly than the HP Victus 15 but offers higher screen quality with its OLED display, lighter weight for increased portability, and potentially better battery life. On the other hand, the HP Victus 15 comes with a dedicated Nvidia graphics card, which could better suit gaming or intensive graphical tasks despite its heavier form factor and lower screen resolution. If your work is more visually oriented and values display quality, lean towards the ASUS; if gaming or graphic performance is higher on your list, consider the HP. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED boasts an OLED panel with vibrant colors and high resolution, making it a solid choice for everyday tasks and professional design work where color accuracy is crucial. However, its lower refresh rate limits its suitability for 3D applications where smoother visuals are necessary for an optimal experience. The HP Victus 15, on the other hand, has a good general display but lacks the color fidelity that designers require, and similar to the ASUS, its refresh rate doesn't meet the demands of high-end gaming or 3D work.

How the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
