If price is a deciding factor and you need larger storage, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED comes at a lower midrange cost with more built-in storage. Its large screen and high resolution cater to general use and is ideal for engineering tasks that benefit from a larger display and accurate colors. However, the Dell XPS 13 Plus, although more expensive, offers a more portable experience with a lighter build and longer battery life. Its touchscreen and a sharper resolution might be advantageous if you often work on-the-go and value screen quality. Neither are a match for intensive gaming but both can handle engineering work and general use quite well. Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED has a better screen than the Dell XPS 13 Plus for general use, and gaming and AI, while the Dell XPS 13 Plus has a better screen for content creation.
For general use, the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED offers vibrant colors and contrast due to its OLED panel, which provides better visual experience for browsing and video streaming than the Dell XPS 13 Plus. When it comes to engineering and design, both laptops offer high-quality screens with wide color gamuts that ensure precise color representation for professional work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short as their screens don't have high refresh rates needed for smooth motion, making them less ideal for fast-paced visuals that gamers and 3D designers require.

How the ASUS Vivobook S 15 OLED and the Dell XPS 13 Plus compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook S 15 OLED excels as a capable work machine at an affordable price. It offers commendable performance, thanks to its 12th Gen Intel chip, delivers quality on-screen entertainment with its 15.6-inch OLED display, and can (kind of) get you through a full day of work. Oh, and its special Asus Antibacterial Guard is a nice touch for those who like a clean laptop."
"The XPS 13 Plus is powerful, but has its drawbacks. Dell did not only update the processor generation, but also decided to offer two completely different models from now on. The XPS 13 Plus gets the faster Intel Alder Lake-P chips, and the Core i7-1260P in our review unit offers good performance figures. However, the device once again shows the problems of the current Intel CPUs, because the high performance requires a lot of power. This affects the battery runtime as well as temperatures, so the new model (even with the Optimized power profile) is louder than the older model."
