The ASUS Vivobook S 15 offers more storage and memory, which is better for intensive tasks and multitasking. Its processor is slightly more powerful, suitable for engineering and 3D tasks, although both laptops use similar AMD integrated graphics. The Vivobook has a larger battery capacity, which may lead to better battery life, important for on-the-go use. However, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 has a touchscreen and slightly lighter weight, making it more convenient for portability and interactive work. Both have 15.6-inch IPS displays with identical resolution, but the IdeaPad has better contrast. Price-wise, they are similar, so your choice depends on whether you prioritize performance and battery life (ASUS) or touch functionality and slight portability (Lenovo). Give Feedback

The ASUS Vivobook S 15 has a better screen than the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" for content creation.
For general use, screen quality is largely determined by resolution and brightness; both the ASUS Vivobook S 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" provide adequate clarity and visibility under most conditions, but may not stand out in terms of sharpness or luminance. When it comes to engineering and design, accurate color reproduction is crucial; these laptops offer fair screen quality as they cover basic color ranges well enough for standard tasks, but professionals may find them lacking in wider color gamuts like DCI-P3 or Adobe RGB. As for gaming and 3D, high refresh rates are essential for smooth visuals; these laptops fall short for these purposes as they are not built with high-refresh-rate displays, affecting the fluidity and responsiveness needed in fast-paced scenarios.

How the ASUS Vivobook S 15 and the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" compare to other laptops
"Internals make Asus VivoBook S15 laptop a compelling option. The Asus multimedia laptop may look rather below-average with its modest black chassis, lack of a dedicated GPU, limited RAM and meagre port selection without Thunderbolt support. But your impression of the device will start changing once you set your eyes on its high-contrast OLED capable of producing deep blacks and highly accurate colours. And your opinion will change completely when the VivoBook is switched on. The AMD CPU can effortlessly keep up with powerful rivals from Intel. The integrated Radeon graphics blows away Intel's iGPU when it comes to graphics workloads such as rendering and simpler games."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15" is affordable and pretty efficient. At the end of the day, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 (15″, 2023) is one of the better affordable laptops money can buy right now. It has a decent performance, albeit coming from a CPU that is based on old architecture. Playing low-intensity games is possible but at low to medium settings. We are really happy with the cooling setup, but the main event here is the battery life. We got 9 hours of either Web browsing or video playback, which is a great result. Especially if you compare this device with the ASUS E410."
