The ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 is generally less expensive, more portable, and offers a better screen for color accuracy and higher resolution, which is ideal for general use and photo editing. On the other hand, the MSI Pulse GL66, which is more expensive, has a more powerful processor, twice the RAM and storage, a dedicated graphics card suitable for gaming, 3D rendering, and engineering, and is better equipped for demanding tasks but at the cost of a shorter battery life and additional weight. The MSI Pulse GL66 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 is only fair.
The MSI Pulse GL66 offers a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate of 144Hz, which are key for smoother and more immersive gaming and 3D experiences, compared to the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14's integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics and 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, although the ASUS model has a higher resolution OLED screen that could provide better overall screen quality, the MSI's dedicated GPU and refresh rate hold more significance for most gaming and 3D tasks.

How the ASUS Vivobook Pro 14 and the MSI Pulse GL66 compare to other laptops
"The Asus Vivobook Pro 14 OLED is a Pantone Validated laptop that packs a lot of processing power. The Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED's highlight is its outstanding display: Featuring a 3K resolution in the 16:10 format and nearly a 100% coverage of the Display P3 color space, the display hardly leaves anything to be desired. The Asus laptop also shows impeccable rates in terms of general system performance. Combined with long battery life, low noise emissions, and relatively good speakers, the laptop can be recommended to users who can accept compromises in terms of connectivity."
"The MSI Pulse GL66 has a lot of potential for improvement. Although the RTX 3060 is only able to use 105 watts, we still liked the gaming performance, particularly since this also makes the Pulse comfortably efficient but not slow by any means. Neither the dark display with its lame response times, nor USB 2.0 or the lack of Thunderbolt will please real gamers. The use of a sticker factory seal, which is at least questionable, also won't inspire any enthusiasm. It is obvious that the laptop is really designed for price-conscious gamers."
