If you prioritize a larger screen size, longer battery life, and higher resolution for tasks such as graphic design or photo editing, then the Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a better choice, despite it being more expensive and heavier which makes it less portable. On the other hand, if you prefer a laptop that’s easier to carry around and costs less while still offering good performance for general use and casual gaming, the ASUS Vivobook 16X would be suitable for you. However, the ASUS has a lower battery life compared to the Gigabyte, so it may require more frequent charging. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 15X has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16X for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 16X prioritizes resolution and brightness, delivering clear and sharp visuals that are pleasant for everyday activities such as browsing and document editing, which is why it's deemed good for general use. Its color accuracy across different gamuts ensures that professionals working in engineering and design can trust the display for precise color work, despite not being optimal for gaming and 3D tasks due to a limited refresh rate. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 15X also provides vibrant and bright images suitable for general use and adequate color representation for creative tasks, yet falls short for gaming and 3D purposes as it shares the same refresh rate limitation.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16X and the Gigabyte Aorus 15X compare to other laptops
"I think the ASUS Vivobook 16X is fantastic. Great performance, decent battery life, good keyboard and trackpad, and a massive screen – just that the screen quality itself is kinda subpar. If you’re okay with the screen, then I think this is an okay laptop. However, I’d like to see a price drop."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 15X is a strong showing of Raptor Lake and RTX 4000 series. While the Aorus had trouble keeping up in older games like Grand Theft Auto V, it nudged past the competition in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also flexed its next-generation muscle in Far Cry 6 and Borderlands 3. While we were impressed with the overall build quality and design of the Aorus 15X, the keyboard lacked good tactile feedback. The display performed well in real-world testing despite its on-paper shortcoming with brightness, but the speakers are lackluster at best."
