Choosing between the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the MSI Summit E16 Flip depends on your needs and budget. The Vivobook is less expensive, making it a practical option if you need a capable machine for everyday tasks and light productivity, with reasonable battery life and performance from an AMD processor. On the other hand, the Summit E16 Flip costs more but offers a higher-resolution screen, superior graphics performance with an Nvidia RTX card making it better suited for demanding graphics work and gaming, and the versatility of a 2-in-1 convertible design. It runs on an Intel processor and comes with pro features indicating a tilt towards professional use. Keep in mind the Flip's added features may consume more battery, and both laptops are similarly sized, the Flip being slightly thinner and the Vivobook slightly lighter. Give Feedback

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."

NotebookCheck

Sascha Mölck | October 2022
"The MSI Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop with pen, 16:10 display, and RTX 3050 Ti. The Summit E16 Flip is a 2-in-1 laptop from the business segment that primarily targets creative users. MSI combines a 16-inch touchscreen in the 16:10 format with a powerful midrange GPU. While the 2-in-1 laptop from MSI isn't meant for everybody, it should definitely attract some followers. The touchscreen display (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) covers the DCI-P3 color space. This is accompanied by stable viewing angles, a good color reproduction, short response times, and a good contrast level."
