The ASUS Vivobook 16 is typically more affordable and offers sufficient performance for everyday tasks and light professional work, making it a solid choice for those who prioritize cost-effectiveness and have moderate computing needs. The MSI GE66 Raider, on the other hand, is geared towards gaming and high-performance tasks such as 3D rendering and demanding engineering software; expect to pay a premium for its advanced graphics and faster processing capabilities. Consider the MSI if you need top-tier performance and are less concerned about budget and portability. If you're after longer battery life and a lighter device that's easier to carry around, the ASUS Vivobook 16 is likely a better fit. Give Feedback

The MSI GE66 Raider is very good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 16 is only fair.
The ASUS Vivobook 16's AMD Vega 8 GPU and 60Hz screen refresh rate are fair for gaming and 3D applications but are outdone by the MSI GE66 Raider's Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti GPU and higher 120Hz refresh rate, which are better for demanding visual tasks and smoother gameplay.

The MSI GE66 Raider has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The ASUS Vivobook 16's screen may not be ideal for gaming or 3D work due to a lower refresh rate, although it's sufficient for general tasks and engineering with decent resolution and brightness. On the other hand, the MSI GE66 Raider's screen excels in resolution and brightness which benefits general use and detailed engineering work, and its color accuracy enhances design tasks. Both, however, fall short for gaming and 3D applications where high refresh rates are crucial, and in this respect, neither laptop provides optimal screen performance.

"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"The MSI Raider GE66 12UHS notebook passes with flying colors. The GE66 is a high-end notebook with strong performance. The keyboard and trackpad are still very good and score well with precise inputs as well as high build quality. Thanks to a new liquid metal cooling solution, the Intel Core i9 12900HK brings a performance increase of around 50 percent over the predecessor's Intel Core i9 10980HK. The installed graphics card in our device delivers up to 30 percent higher frame rates than the RTX 2070 Super in the MSI GE66 10SFS."
