The ASUS Vivobook 16 is generally less expensive and has a larger storage capacity, but it doesn't feature a touchscreen and its screen has a lower resolution compared to the HP Spectre x360. The Spectre x360 has a much better battery capacity and its screen supports touch input with a significantly higher resolution, but it comes at a higher price. If portability and a high-quality touchscreen are priorities and the budget allows, the Spectre x360 may suit you better. Conversely, for more storage at a lower cost, consider the Vivobook 16, especially if a touchscreen and the highest possible screen resolution are not crucial. Give Feedback

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | August 2022
"As we said, Lenovo's Yoga 9i is a tough competitor to the Spectre with an equally admirable OLED display. We're sad that neither of them has an HDMI port nor a niche or slot to hold the stylus, though the HP wins points for its bundled mini docking station and magnetically attached pen. Your choice will come down to screen shape—and in our eyes, just as seeing an OLED screen spoils you for an IPS panel, enjoying a tall 3:2 display spoils you for a more conventional view. The HP Spectre x360 13.5 is our new favorite 2-in-1."
