The ASUS Vivobook 16 offers a bigger screen and good performance for general use at a lower price, which makes it appealing if you don't need high-end graphics or gaming capabilities. On the other hand, the Gigabyte Aorus 7, while more expensive, provides higher performance with its dedicated graphics card, making it more suitable for gaming, 3D applications, and intensive engineering software. The Aorus 7 also has a high refresh rate display, which is a plus for gamers. Consider the Vivobook 16 for everyday tasks and if portability and cost are a priority, or the Aorus 7 for gaming or demanding applications despite it being heavier and costlier. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is good for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Vivobook 16 is only fair.
The Gigabyte Aorus 7 offers superior gaming and 3D performance primarily due to its powerful Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU and a high screen refresh rate of 360 Hz, compared to the ASUS Vivobook 16, which has an integrated AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Vega 8 GPU and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. Additionally, while both laptops have similar CPUs and respectable screen quality, the Aorus 7's GPU and refresh rate are likely to provide a much smoother and visually responsive gaming experience.

The Gigabyte Aorus 7 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook 16 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
The ASUS Vivobook 16, with its adequate resolution and brightness, offers a display that's sufficient for daily tasks and productivity, but its limited color gamut may not satisfy professionals in engineering and design who need precise color representation. Conversely, the Gigabyte Aorus 7, with superior brightness and resolution, ensures crisp and vivid visuals beneficial for both general use and detailed engineering work, though its color range may still fall short of the high standards required for color-critical tasks. Both laptops, however, have lower refresh rates which are not ideal for smooth visuals in Gaming and 3D applications that rely on fast screen updates for an immersive experience.

How the ASUS Vivobook 16 and the Gigabyte Aorus 7 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, Yannick Khong | May 2023
"The ASUS Vivobook 16 M1605 (2023) is a budget Windows laptop. It's available with various AMD Ryzen 5000 and 7000 U-series CPUs and integrated graphics. You can only get 8GB of RAM; however, there's an empty SO-DIMM slot if you want to upgrade it. It has an FHD+ (1920 x 1200) 16:10 IPS display, a full-size keyboard with a Numpad, a 720p webcam, and Wi-Fi 6E wireless connectivity. Ports include three USB-As, one USB-C, an HDMI, and a headphone jack. The USB-C supports charging but no video output."
"The Gigabyte Aorus 7 is a gaming laptop that is pitched at perhaps the hardest market to get right: the mid-range. So, unlike high-end gaming laptops that can throw the latest and greatest components together in a bid to attract gamers with plenty of money to spend, or budget gaming laptops that can make wise cuts that are justified as long as the price is low enough, mid-rangers like the Gigabyte Aorus 7 have to balance the two."
